In 2013 we used a variety of strategies to get to and from our daywalks, depending on the mileages involved and availability of suitable places for walkers to wait while cars were moved to the end of the walk or recovered from the start.
For details of how we tackled the transport for each walk, and for the location and postcodes of car parks etc, click on the appropriate link below:
Walk Two: Exton to Queen Elizabeth Country Park
Walk Three: QE Country Park to Cocking Hill
Walk Four: Cocking Hill to Amberley
Walk Five: Amberley to Upper Beeding
Walk Six: Upper Beeding to Ditchling Beacon
Walk Seven: Ditchling Beacon to Southease
Walk Eight: Southease to Exceat
Walk Nine: Exceat to Eastbourne
In 2014 we relied mostly on public transport to get to and from walks and it was quite successful. See how we managed this here.
